Lynda Murray: Master of contemporary interior design
Specializing in very high-end contemporary design, Lynda Murray’s interior design firm LMID, inc. designs homes and offices that raise their expression of themselves through style, materials and use of space. Paying extra attention to good lighting and scale, Murray’s designs reach a high level of sophistication and luxury. “I love clean lines and monochromatic neutral tones with a splash of color.” At the age of 16, Lynda Murray started working with a designer on her own bedroom, choosing fabrics, furniture and art. She quickly realized that she wanted to pursue a career in interior design and went on to complete UCLA’s Interior and Environmental Design program. Listening to her father’s business advice, Murray was able to make the right career choices.
