Soon celebrating 150 years of business, Lürssen specializes in the construction of state-of-the-art megayachts. The German family-owned business is responsible for the world’s first motorboat in 1886. In 2013, Lürssen delivered the 180-meter Azzam, the world’s longest yacht. Three years later, Dilbar, the world’s biggest yacht in terms of gross tonnage, left Lürssen shipyards. Completed in only 52 months, it features luxury entertainment and recreation spaces never before seen on a yacht.
Lürssen’s latest project came to life in 2021: Ahpo, a collaboration with luxury yacht design studio Nuvolari-Lenard, well known for their timeless and elegant Italian style. Offering utmost comfort, the bespoke, 115-meter superyacht is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and engineering systems such as dynamic positioning, which enables electronic anchoring in sensitive and remote areas.
