In Paris, Julie and Jean-Jacques Darmon developed a deep affection for French urban and pop artists such as Invader and Patrick Rubinstein. Meanwhile, the couple fell in love with New York City 1980s graffiti artists Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Richard Hambleton.
